Bluecore Communicate is used to create and schedule one-time or recurring email campaigns. As you drill into each of the options available under Communicate, the campaign types reflect whether it's an automated or one-time campaign. Follow the below navigation to learn more about each campaign type specific to automated or one-time.

1. Navigate to the flag icon on the left-hand side of the navigation bar.
2. Go to Communicate.
3. Then Automated Campaigns or One-Time Campaigns. If a campaign has already been created or run, it will display on the main section. Click a campaign to edit or review it.

AUTOMATED CAMPAIGNS

Once you've clicked into the automated campaigns section, you can only create automated campaigns. To create a one-time campaign, navigate to one-time campaigns using the steps above.

1. Click New in the upper right-hand corner.

2. Then, click Create New Campaign.
3. Choose a channel. This section describes the options available with Bluecore's automated campaigns.

  • Email: Set up a recurring email communication to your customers.

  • Audience Exports: Set up a recurring export of a Bluecore audience segment to SFTP. This is an advanced feature, please contact your Customer Success Manager to upgrade.

4. Click Next.

5. If you selected email, then select a campaign type.

  • Marketing: Configure an automated promotional campaign using the power of your customer and product data.

  • Transactional: Configure an automated non-promotional campaign using our Transactional API or any Bluecore audience.

6. If you selected Marketing, select an additional campaign type from the options below.

  • Custom: Leverage the power of your customer and product data by sending a campaign on a recurring cadence to any custom-built Bluecore audience.

  • Smart Campaign: Send a recurring full-list email campaign that delivers the best content, products, and offers to every customer with every send.

  • Trigger: Retain and convert customers by launching autonomous retail campaigns with Bluecore's expansive behavioral and product trigger library.

If the campaign type of trigger, the below additional types are available. If you selected transactional, navigate to step 7 for the additional types.

TRIGGER

  • Abandoned Cart: Trigger an email to customers who abandon their shopping cart and haven’t purchased.

  • Abandoned Product: Trigger an email to customers who abandon their browsing session and haven’t purchased.

  • Abandoned Search: Trigger an email to customers who abandon their search session and haven’t purchased.

  • Post Purchase: Trigger an email to customer who purchased one or more products.

  • New Arrivals: Trigger an email when new products come available on your website to customers who have interacted with products in a similar category.

  • Price Decrease: Trigger an email when products drop in price on your website to customers who have interacted with those products recently but have not purchased them.

7. If you selected Transactional, select to send an API Transactional campaign or a Bluecore Audience Transactional campaign.

API

  • Welcome: Use our Transactional API to deliver a welcome email to new customers.

  • Order Notification: Use our Transactional API to deliver an email when an order is completed.

  • Custom: Use our Transactional API to deliver a custom transactional campaign.

BLUECORE AUDIENCE

  • Custom: Set up an automated account or order status campaign using a Bluecore audience.

  • Notify Me: Coming Soon: Send an email to customers who explicitly signed up on the site to be notified when a product that is coming soon is now available.

  • Notify Me: Back in Stock: Send an email to customers who explicitly signed up on the site to be notified when a specific product is back in stock.

ONE-TIME

Once you've clicked into the one-time campaigns section, you can only create one-time campaigns.

1. Click New in the upper right-hand corner.

2. Then, click Create New Campaign.
3. Choose a channel. This section describes the options available with Bluecore's automated campaigns.

  • Email: Set up a one-time email communication to your customers.

  • Audience Exports: Set up a one-time export of a Bluecore audience segment to SFTP. This is an advanced feature, please contact your Customer Success Manager to upgrade.

4. If you selected email, then select a campaign type.

  • Marketing: Configure a one-time promotional campaign using the power of your customer and product data.

  • Transactional: Configure a one-time non-promotional campaign using our Transactional API or any Bluecore audience.

5. If you selected Transactional, select to send a custom campaign or with a Bluecore Audience.

  • Custom: Set up a one-time campaign using our Transactional API.

  • Bluecore Audience: Set up a one-time campaign using a Bluecore audience.
