Email Report Card

Learn more about the email report card analytics and metrics that are available within Bluecore’s enhanced analytics.

The email report card is an executive summary of overall email performance across triggers, promotional/batch, and transactional sends. Leverage this report to view the health of your email program, while identifying areas and opportunities for optimization. Access the email report card by following the below steps.

  1. Navigate to the chart icon on the left-hand navigation.

  2. Go to Enhanced Analytics.

  3. Then Email Report Card.

FILTERS

Filters are available at the top of the report. They can be used to refine the available data within the email report card. After applying a filter, be sure to click the run button at the top right-hand of the screen to apply the applicable filters.

  • Quarter: The calendar quarter to review performance. For example: Q3 2019, Q4 2019 are subsequent quarters.

  • Time Breakdown: The granularity to view data in a specified time frame. For example: weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual.

NOTE: The quarters available map to calendar-based quarters - Q1: January - March, Q2: April -June, Q3: July - September, Q4: October - December.

  • Operator: Is is the only operator supported for comparison. Matches a user attribute is not supported at this time.

COMPANY INFORMATION

View a highlighted overview of the customer configurations.

  • Namespace: The unique name that represents your account in Bluecore.

  • Attribution Hours Window: The window (number of hours) post-campaign click that a purchase will be attributed towards revenue generated from that campaign. Click here to read more about how this is calculated.

  • Average Order Value (AOV): The calculated average order value for the specified time frame. This is calculated by total attributed revenue divided by total conversions for the specified quarter.

  • Industry: The retail subvertical representing your account. Possible values are: Apparel and Accessories, Outdoor Apparel and Accessories, Health and Beauty, Home and Beauty, Jewelry, Home Goods, Technology and Hardware, Food and Leisure, Office Supplies, and Department Store.

QUARTER OVERVIEW

View a quick snapshot of the email metrics for the specified quarter.

  • Total Emails Delivered: The total number of emails delivered to the ISPs. This is calculated by subtracting bounces from total sent.

  • Total Campaigns Run: The total number of triggered, promotional/batch, and transactional campaigns run within the quarter.

  • Total Conversions: The total number of orders.

  • Total Attributed Revenue: The total revenue generated after a user clicks on an email and makes a purchase that falls within the set attribution window.
    NOTE: If you're an international customer, the original currency is displayed. When viewing benchmark reporting, the currency is converted to USD in order to compare.

TRIGGERED EMAIL METRICS

Review your triggered email campaign performance against industry-specific benchmarks. Your classified industry is available in the company information section of this report.

  • Unique Open Rate: The total number of unique (for example, from a distinct email address) opens divided by delivered.

  • Unique Click-to-Open Rate (CTOR): The total number of unique (for example, from a distinct email address) clicks from an email.

  • Unique Click-to-Conversion Rate: The total number of conversions divided by unique clicks.

  • Revenue per Email (RPE): The average revenue generated from a delivered email.

PROMOTIONAL/BATCH EMAIL RATE METRICS
