Bluecore’s pre-built template library is equipped with three different template types to help get your email marketing program up and running quickly. Get started with these pre-built email template types: abandoned cart, product, and search. Each template type has three templates options that can be used for a multi-touch journey.
Available pre-built templates: Abandoned Cart Option 1, 2, and 3, Abandoned Product Option 1, 2, and 3, and Abandoned Search Option 1, 2, and 3.
Templates can be created, modified, and managed in the template library, but can also be added to a campaign and edited during the campaign creation workflow. Learn more about each method below.
TEMPLATE LIBRARY
Pre-built templates are available when creating a new template within the email template library. Access the template library by following the below steps.
Navigate to the image icon on the left-hand navigation.
Go to Email Templates.
Click Create New Template in the upper right-hand corner.
Select Pre-built template.
Hover over the applicable template.
Click the magnifying glass in the upper right-hand corner for a template preview before selecting it.
Then, click Select Template to modify the template.
When the Select template button is clicked, a copy of the template is automatically created. You can rename the template to be something unique to the campaign type, and make any modifications to the templates to ensure your brands consistency. After the applicable changes have been made, click Publish Template in the upper right-hand corner. This template is available in the library and can be added to a campaign during the campaign creation workflow.
BUILDING A CAMPAIGN
Add a template from the template library or a pre-built template to a campaign after a campaign type has been selected and configured.
1. Navigate to the message tab of a campaign.
2. Click Create New Template or Copy Existing Template.
Create New Template: Select a pre-built template from the template library, or create a template in VTE or with the code editor. When a pre-built template is selected, a copy of the template is automatically created.
Copy Existing Template: Copy a template from saved templates in the template library or from a previous Bluecore campaign.
3. Select a Template.
Next, make any applicable changes in VTE to the design of the template to ensure your brands consistency, such as images and navigation links. After the template has been set up, configure any additional content outside of the template, such as product recommendations. Product recommendations may be included in a pre-built template, but the recipe rules for the recommendations must be set up outside of VTE on the message tab.
After the campaign has been completely set up and ready to be launched, click Save and Launch in the lower right-hand corner.
