Understanding export job and run statuses

Updated over a week ago

Keeping track of your export statuses in Bluecore is important to make sure your data is being exported and quickly identify any failures or halts.

The export jobs provide statuses for each run, and an overall status on the job itself. These statuses allow you to monitor progress through email notifications and identify issues.

In this article, learn about the different job and run statuses, and how to review failed and halted runs.

Active

An automated job ran successfully, and is scheduled to continue running.

Completed

A one-time job ran successfully.

Failed

A one-time job failed to run successfully.

Review the run history by clicking the Action menu on the job > View job details > Run history. This shows the failed run.

In Run History, review the run’s Status column for information on why it failed.

Paused

A user manually paused the job and it will no longer run.

Runs can’t be retried if the job is Paused.

To reactivate the job so it runs, click on the Action menu on the job > Reactivate job.

Halted

The system automatically paused the job because a run critically failed.

Review the run history by clicking the Action menu on the job > View job details > Run history. This shows all runs related to that job.

In Run History, review the run’s Status column for information on why it halted.
